Sound Rivers Oyster Roast 2024

November 16th, 2024

Sound Rivers' signature event and biggest fundraised of the year is Nov. 16. Featuring live music, craft beer, a silent auction, chili, chowder and steamed oysters galore, this fabulous event is 37 years old and gets better every year!

Because Oyster Roast tickets have sold out quickly for the past two years, we are making a change to how tickets are sold this year. The first week of ticket sales will be offered to Sound Rivers' members only, so make sure you membership is up to date here!

Member tickets go on sale Sept. 20 ($70); non-member Early Bird tickets go on sale Sept. 27 ($90). All tickets sold after Oct. 4 will be regular price ($75 for members; $95 for non-members). VIP tickets are $130 per ticket (includes early entry, a dedicated oyster shucker, wine pairings and more!).

Join The Fight

With continued population growth in North Carolina, the beauty of the Neuse and Tar-Pamlico watersheds are under tremendous strain as use is at an all-time high. Which means we need environmentalists and nature lovers like you who will help us advocate for the protection of our precious water sources.

Sound Rivers serves as the primary protector of these rivers and millions of people in our state rely on this organization to keep watch over a watershed that covers 12,000 square miles and nearly one-quarter of our state. Water from these sources flows through homes and businesses every day, and we need support from citizens like you to monitor and protect the health of our rivers.

Your Membership Protects Our Waterways

As a Sound Rivers member, your voice will join with thousands of others in eastern North Carolina dedicated to the preservation of the Neuse & Tar-Pamlico River Basins. Our grassroots work is made possible thanks to generous member support from organizations and individuals like you.

We are a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which allows for the benefits of a tax-deductible charitable contribution. Please support Sound Rivers by becoming a member today!
