With more than 20 years of experience in the manufacturing field, Miriam works as an environmental professional at Cummins Inc., a multinational corporation that designs, manufactures and distributes engines, filtration and power generation products, in Rocky Mount.
For Miriam, access to clean water is a top priority — “because water is essential for life,” she says.
As a Sound Rivers board member, she hopes to serve as a link between the organization and industry, and the Latino community. Miriam, her husband, Victor, and their dog, Jack, enjoy exploring the outdoors, attending live concerts and visiting wineries.
