Brooke Kestler is a rising senior at N.C. State University, majoring in Biological Sciences, who recently moved to Surf City. Brooke said she is passionate about public and environmental health, and has found that water-quality strongly intersects with both.

“I am excited to intern at Sound Rivers as this group provides opportunities to explore projects that connect with my wide range of interests while gaining hands-on experience in environmental advocacy and water-quality work,” Brooke said. “I am also looking forward to learning from such a supportive and knowledgeable team throughout my internship.”
