The 36th-annual Sound Rivers Oyster Roast is coming up on Nov. 11, and we need volunteers!
Volunteer opportunities include setup on Nov. 10, setup during the day on Nov. 11, volunteers for check-in, oyster serving, and other jobs during the event on Nov. 11, and helping to break down the event on Nov. 12. (See full list below.) If you’d be interested in assisting with our largest fundraiser of the year, we would love your help!

Friday, Nov. 10
Outside Setup (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
Saturday, Nov. 11
Setup Volunteers Needed:
Outside Setup (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
Inside Setup/Auction Setup (9 a.m. -3 p.m.)
Oyster Washing (heavy lifting) (10 a.m.)
*Event Volunteers Needed:
Check-in – Various Shifts (4:45 – 5:45 p.m., 5:45 – 7 p.m., 7 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.)
Silent Auction Closing & Breakdown Help (8:30 – 10 p.m.)
Oyster Servers (heavy lifting) – Various Shifts (the 5 – 6 p.m., 6 – 7 p.m., 7 – 8:15 p.m.)
Breakdown (10 p.m.)
Sunday, Nov. 12
All Types of Indoor/Outdoor help for cleanup (some heavy lifting) (9am – ?)
