Raleigh’s river-lovers turned out Tuesday night for Lynnwood Brewing Concern’s “Beer for a Cause,” in which $1 for every pint of beer sold is donated to a nonprofit working for good in the Triangle area. Sound Rivers was this month’s recipient and drew a crowd of current and past board members, supporters, partners in Raleigh stormwater and The Great Raleigh Cleanup to join Sound Rivers Executive Director Heather Deck and Development Coordinator Jay Potter for a brew.
