Broad Creek, Washington vicinity – The Hindsley Platform is located on Broad Creek, about two miles upstream from the confluence of the Pamlico River. Situated on a quiet, blackwater stream, this platform provides a wonderful getaway with peace and quiet. You can put in at McCotter’s Marina on Broad Creek, Dinah’s Landing at Goose Creek State Park or Haven’s Gardens on Runyon Creek and have a nice paddle and stop for lunch. 

Be sure to listen for your favorite bird: green and blue herons, eagles, osprey, pileated woodpeckers and so many more frequent this area.
