PIG PICKIN’ FOR A CAUSE: Longtime Sound Rivers supporter and past board member Jim Kellenberger enlisted the help of Pamlico-Tar Riverkeeper Katey Zimmerman, Water Quality Specialist Taylor Register Seijo and husband Lucas, Volunteer Coordinator Emily Fritz and fiancé Tanner Lilly, and Sound Rivers board members Cindy Seymour and Mike Sagaser (along with significant others Mark and Christina Marshen) to help serve up barbecue at the Sailpack Regatta, a regatta hosted by N.C. State’s sailing team. Teams from as far away as Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada, competed in the two-day event. Thank you, Jim, for your donation of the $2,500 in proceeds to Sound Rivers!
