Oyster Roast 2025: the best one yet!

Events, Sound Rivers

Posted on November 20th, 2025

Hundreds of people turned out last Saturday night for an amazing evening of shucking oysters under the stars, sampling local craft beer, bidding on auction items and dancing the night away to Saxy and the Thrill.

It was an event to remember! Thanks to all of our hardworking volunteers who helped with setting up the event (a major undertaking), checking people in, serving up cocktail sauce and butter, slinging oysters, breaking down the event, and more! Sound Rivers could not possibly pull off this huge event without the time and dedication donated to the clean-water cause. Thank you, volunteers!

We also couldn’t do it without our many sponsors, and those who donated items to the auction. Thank you all for your generosity!

Robby Roudon, winner of the Sound Rivers raffle, where the owner of one winning ticket got to choose from three prizes. Robby went home with an ebike, donated by Inner Banks Outfitters in Washington.
