DOG DAYS: Sound Rivers teamed up with Wayne County Public Library to host a fifth Dog Days at the Neuse. The public was invited to bring their canine friends and take a stroll through Cliffs of the Neuse State Park and learn about the Neuse River and how the cliffs came to be. Volunteer Coordinator Emily Fritz and her Sound Rivers Ambassa-dog, Pepper, were there for the fun. Note Pepper’s sporty Sound Rivers bandana!
