PEDAL MORE, PADDLE MORE: Longtime Sound Rivers supporters Bill Hines and Larry Summers, with the assistance of Volunteer Coordinator Emily Fritz and Twin Rivers Paddle Club members, hosted kayak tours during Cycle NC’s Coastal Ride held in Oriental last weekend. More than 40 cyclists took advantage of the free opportunity to get off the bike and into a kayak to learn about local creeks and Sound Rivers. Pictured are Megan Daly and Virginia Spencer from Twin Rivers Paddle Club and Larry Summers. Many thanks to these wonderful volunteers!
