HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Volunteers and Sound Rivers Volunteer Coordinator Emily Fritz (right) celebrated the Clayton trash trap’s first year with a cleanout last Saturday. Though the lack of rain meant little trash was in the Little Creek trap, the group scoured the neighboring creek banks and greenway, removing 24 pounds of trash from the area. Many thanks to the volunteers!

A small collection of trash from the trash trap, but much more was collected along the banks and greenway.
