Sound Rivers staff and volunteers pitched in to help longtime Sound Rivers supporter Jim Kellenberger with a pig pickin’ last Saturday.

Every year, Jim donates a pig pickin’, complete with delicious side dishes, to the Sound Rivers auction, held in conjunction with the annual Oyster Roast.

We thank Jim for his generosity, and also thank Sound Rivers’ Executive Director Heather Deck, Program Assistant Sierra Stickney Digan and board member Cindy Seymour, along with Sierra’s husband Shane and Cindy’s husband Mark for volunteering for Jim K.’s pig pickin’. The event provided good food, good company and a good rain during cleanup!

If you’re interested in volunteering for pig-pickin’ duties, we have another Jim K. event on June 21 in Grimesland! (Free food! Great company!) Email Volunteer Coordinator Emily Fritz at emily@soundrivers.org to volunteer!
