ON THE ROAD: Neuse Riverkeeper Samantha Krop, Pamlico-Tar Riverkeeper Katey Zimmerman and Sound Rivers’ Executive Director Heather Deck joined Waterkeepers from across North and South Carolina in Winston-Salem this week for the spring Waterkeeper Carolinas conference. Among topics covered on Day 1 were watershed restoration planning and the emerging issue of data centers; Day 2 was spent discussing the group’s legislative, regulatory and local priorities.
