At Sound Rivers, we are always grateful for volunteers, and when staff members share their passion for the work we do, we sometimes get volunteers with more than water-quality in common. Over the past few weeks, Sound Rivers has welcomed some new volunteers to the fold: Zavier Harris, Sound Rivers Water-Quality Intern DaNisha Harris’ son; and Lourdes Williamson and Carsen Rowe, the mother and daughter of Sound Rivers Business Manager Lauren Rowe.

With DaNisha’s assistance, the three newest volunteers learned how to take water samples and prepare samples to be tested for E. coli.

We love our volunteers!
