Neuse Riverkeeper Samantha Krop took a tour of 62 acres of land in the Lick Creek watershed last week — land now owned by the Triangle Land Conservancy, courtesy of a Sound Rivers’ lawsuit settled by a developer polluting Lick Creek waterways. Joining Samantha on the outing were Triangle Land Conservancy’s Robert Howes and Margaret Sands and Southern Environmental Law Center Senior Attorney Irena Como. The property contains a significant tributary to Lick Creek.
