Riverkeeper graduations EJ Leadership academy

NEW GRAD: Congratulations to Pamlico-Tar Riverkeeper Katey Zimmerman, Sound Rivers’ latest graduate of the Environmental Justice Leadership Academy! Hosted by North Carolina Conservation Network, the months-long program highlights issues that disproportionately impact marginalized communities. Katey said it was a great experience to be able to build on her environmental justice knowledge and looks forward to partnering with others in the class working on environmental justice issues.
