PHOTO OF THE WEEK: Water Quality Specialist Taylor Seijo walks through low-lying land on her and Pamlico-Tar Riverkeeper Katey Zimmerman’s Mid-East Wastewater Improvement Plan sampling run last week. Sampling covers locations in five eastern North Carolina counties: Beaufort, Bertie, Hertford, Martin and Pitt. Taylor’s T-shirt says it all because the goal behind their work is make Neuse and Tar-Pamlico waterways swimmable, fishable and drinkable for all.
