Sound Rivers new summer tee design
Celebrate the summer of 2026 with Sound Rivers’ new take on an old design! Featuring the heron, bass and oyster graphic long associated with Sound Rivers, we’ve added waves and a new, distressed look. This soft-style T-shirt is perfect for a day on the water and anytime you want to share Sound Rivers’ mission to preserve and protect the Neuse and Tar-Pamlico!
“Last fall, we designed a Sound Rivers sticker for bumpers, water bottles, laptops or wherever you want a little decoration, and we got a really great response to it,” said Communications Director Vail Rumley. “So, we decided to create a T-shirt along similar design lines — something new for summer, with a summer-y look.”
The Summer 2026 T-shirt is available in men and women’s sizes in white, purple, navy and black; the main design is on the back of the shirt, and the original logo is featured on the front left and inside the neck. A women’s tank top is available in white, navy and pink.
Summer 2026 joins several Sound Rivers’ options for T-shirts, long-sleeved Ts and hoodies: the original logo, a vintage design and the “Two Rivers” design.
“The great thing about the online store is that people can order what they want, when they want it and in a variety of colors,” Vail said. “Even better is the fact that every dollar raised through the online store goes directly to support Sound Rivers’ investigations and programs like Litter-Free Rivers and Water Watch, while you get pretty cool Sound Rivers gear.”
