TRASH-TRAPPING: Volunteer Coordinator Emily Fritz met up with Litter-Free volunteers this week for a cleanout of the Greens Mill Run trash trap in Greenville. More than 65 pounds of trash were removed from the trap, including plastic bottles, Styrofoam containers, sports balls and balloons. A big thank you to (pictured left to right) Sound Rivers intern Hannah Gurganus, Dr. Yoshi Newman, Drew Ligon and Emily for a fantastic job! For the rest of the month, the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and ECU Health Medical Center has adopted the Greenville trash trap.
