Posted on November 10th, 2022Ever wondered what’s like to paddle the Neuse River? The latest episode of Tell Me About It Tuesdays is the place to find out! Pamlico-Tar Riverkeeper Jill Howell and Neuse Riverkeeper Samantha Krop recapped their adventures on the Neuse River Rising paddle — 150 miles and 11 days from Smithfield to New Bern in early October. Along the way, they encounter lonely stretches of undeveloped wilderness, wildlife, a hurricane and some water-quality issues.
