Sound Rivers honored two board members last Saturday with a dinner out at the Wine Feed in Durham. Past President Catherine Kastleman and Dave Emmerling (who has a very long history with Sound Rivers, serving as executive director, board president, interim executive director and more through the years) are the newest recipients of the Great Blue Heron award for their service.
“The entire Board and Staff are grateful for Dave and Catherine’s leadership and the dinner was just one small way to show our appreciation for their years of service and dedication to Sound Rivers’ mission of clean water,” said Sound Rivers Executive Director Heather Deck.
