Tell Me About It Tuesdays: ENC Coastlines and People project

Event Date: May 10, 2022 - 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Join Dr. Stephen Moysey on May 10 at 7 p.m. as he introduces us to the ENC Coastlines and People project, a new, community-based initiative to understand opportunities and barriers to climate resilience on a local scale. Traditional development means not all communities are well-adapted to a changing climate, leading to flooding, algal blooms and more, so this project is engaging residents in community-based science initiatives to share local experience, scientific understanding and institutional resources to help communities find local solutions that work best for them.

Moysey is the Director of East Carolina University’s Water Resources Center and a professor of geological sciences.
