Canceled: 

It is with great regret to announce that we are cancelling the Tap the Tar Event that was scheduled for next Saturday, September 22nd.  With the impending effects of Hurricane Florence, we felt that this was the best course of action.  Sound Rivers’ core mission is environmental protection of the Neuse and Tar-Pamlico Rivers and we will be in full force responding to any issues that arise post-storm. In addition, our partners, volunteers and staff need this time to focus on preparations for the hurricane and possible cleanup next week.
