Join Pamlico-Tar Riverkeeper Katey Zimmerman for an sunset paddle celebrating National Paddle Day from Town Common to Port Terminal on the Tar River!

In addition to joining Riverkeepers across North Carolina hosting their own paddling events, this event is a fundraiser in partnership with our friends at Knee Deep Adventures. All proceeds will support Sound Rivers’ Water Quality Fund — because we all need to know where it’s safe to recreate on the Tar-Pamlico!

The cost to participate is $15 for those bringing their own vessel (canoe, kayak or paddleboard); $35 to reserve a kayak; and $50 to reserve a tandem (two-person) kayak.

Details: Bring bottled water, bug spray and any other personal supplies you would want while paddling!
