Our popular Kids’ River Fest will be coming to Kinston for the first time this year. Dedicated to protecting the Neuse and Tar-Pamlico Rivers, Sound River hosts Kids’ Fest as an opportunity to explore and play in your watershed. Connect with your family and take a time to appreciate the Neuse and Tar Rivers.
Kids’ River Fest in Kinston

Sound Rivers invites your family to explore the Neuseway Nature Park for our first Kids’ River Fest in Kinston on Saturday April 7th. Kids River Fest will be hosted from 10 am to 2pm.

This event is free and open to the public. Kids’ River Fest encourages families to spend their Saturday outside in an active and educational way. The event includes hands on activities as well as shows and musical performances.
Activities for the day are scheduled to include, kayaking, bounce house, planetarium shows, live music, train rides, crafts and much more.
