Earth Day, Raleigh: Our Creeks, Our Communities festival

Event Date: April 22, 2023 - 7:30am

Neuse Riverkeeper Samantha Krop is celebrating Earth Day at the Our Creeks, Our Communities Festival in Raleigh! Hosted by Walnut Creek Urban Waters Federal Partnership, she’ll be celebrating the Walnut Creek watershed through culture, nature and collaboration with many Sound Rivers’ partners. This fun-filled, educational festival is free and open to the public. Hands on activities, exhibits, demonstrations and presentations will showcase the importance of the Walnut Creek watershed to the local community, centered around STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) fields.

Located on the grounds of the Southeast Raleigh YMCA — come on out, meet Sam and learn about the nature surrounding you!
