Sound Rivers’ Volunteer Coordinator Emily Fritz will be onsite at the City of Raleigh’s annual Earth Day celebration at Dix Park! Neuse Riverkeeper Samantha Krop will be popping into this event, as well — rumor has it that Sound Rivers will be getting a special award that evening!

This free, family friendly event will feature earth-conscious vendors and organizations along with live music, games, activities, food trucks and the blockbuster movie, “WALL-E” playing on an outdoor screen.

• 8:15 p.m. Movie “WALL-E”
