Program Director Clay Barber describes how a bioswale works to slow water down, spread it out and soak it in.
Program Director Clay Barber introduced Sound Rivers Board of Directors to some of the many Campus Stormwater Program projects he’s been working on.
The Sound Rivers board and staff met at Wayne County Community College for the September board meeting, and when the meeting was adjourned, Clay took board members on a tour of the campus, showing them the bioswale, constructed wetland restoration and rainwater harvesting cistern — all Campus Stormwater Program installations he managed on the Goldsboro campus.
