PAMLICO PADDLE UPDATE: OCT. 12
IT’S ALL IN THE PLANNING: As Pamlico-Tar Riverkeeper Jill Howell and Environmental Projects Coordinator Clay Barber prepare to head out on the five-day, 70-plus miles paddling adventure down the Pamlico River, they spent an evening sharing where they’re going, where they’re staying and what they’re bringing along on the paddle. They also did a recap of last year’s Tour de Tar, the 10-day trip down the Tar River from Oxford to Washington–and shared what they learned from that experience.
Take a look at their plans and meet Miller the Adventure Pup, who makes a brief cameo in the video. Miller will be the First Mate on Jill’s kayak!
