The NC General Assembly’s 2017 long session has begun. During the long session Sound Rivers’ staff expect the return of a regulatory reform bill that will likely seek to roll back clean water protections. As has been the case the last six years, we expect more harmful legislation and attacks on clean water stashed in other bills throughout the session. Your calls and emails to the General Assembly will be vital to stopping these attacks.
Thank you so much for your dedication to the Rivers! Make sure you’re following us on Facebook and Twitter, and are signed up for our emails to stay up to date on taking action. Also, get started and find your legislators’ contact information here!
