Tell Me About It Tuesdays: Water-wise farming

Event Date: March 9, 2021 - 2:00pm to 3:00pm

Sound Rivers’ monthly virtual science series continues from 7-8 p.m. on March 9 with Eliza Lawdley, farm manager for the Bailey & Sarah Williamson Preserve located in eastern Wake County. Join Eliza and Upper Neuse Riverkeeper Matthew Starr for this discussion on the Williamson Preserve, a public open space managed by the Triangle Land Conservancy. The Preserve has more than 7.5 miles of walking and mountain biking trails, along with a large working farm. Eliza will be sharing an overview of the Preserve with a special focus on the partnering farmers on the site and water-wise farming practices.
