Riverkeeper Cup Cleanup Challenge

River clean up October 5 2008 015Join Sound Rivers volunteers in Louisburg, Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Greenville & Washington, NC to clean the Tar-Pamlico River! Last year Greenville won the RIVERKEEPER® Cup Cleanup Challenge, but in 2016 its anyone’s game!

Will it be Washington, Rocky Mount, Greenville, or Louisburg? Come out to help clean and maybe YOUR city will win!

Please bring your canoe, kayak, or jon-boat along with a PFD. Bags will be provided and a limited amount of gloves will be available. Land cleanups will also be conducted in all cities. For more information or to sign-up call 946-7211 or email liz@soundrivers.org

Washington: Havens Garden Boat Ramp, other locations TBD
Greenville: Town Common Boat Ramp
Tarboro: Shiloh Landing
Rocky Mount: Battle Park Boat Ramp
Louisburg: TBD
