Pamlico-Tar Riverkeeper Jill Howell is teaming up with the local Sierra Club Chapter, Rotary Club, N.C. Wesleyan University Rotaract Club, and Keep America Beautiful to clean up the Tar River at Rocky Mount. Sound Rivers will provide some kayaks or you can BYOBoat. There will also be a  land clean up. The meet-up/put-in location is at the boat ramp at Sunset Park.
