Neuse Paddle Kickoff at Neuse River Brewing
Event Date: April 13, 2019 - 6:00pm to 8:00pmCelebrate the Neuse River with Bill Hines and Larry Summers, before they head off to paddle the length of the river!
Join us for a fun discussion – Bill and Larry will highlight their annual Raleigh to New Bern (Capital to Capital) Paddle, along with attributes of the Neuse River. Hailing from Oriental, active environmentalists, outdoorsmen, and Sound Rivers volunteers, they’ll share their experiences along the length of the Neuse.
We’ll also talk about Sound Rivers’ RIVERKEEPERs efforts to ensure the Neuse and Tar-Pamlico River Basins, covering nearly one-quarter of our state, remain swimmable, fishable and drinkable.
There will be a raffle for a $100 Orvis gift card, and proceeds from beer sales will benefit Sound Rivers.
