NC Pipeline Watch Training - Rocky Mount

Event Date: November 19, 2018 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Duke Energy and Dominion Resources are trying to run a fracked gas pipeline 200 miles in North Carolina through communities and across waterways. NC Pipeline Watch is a group of conservation and community organizations working to ensure Atlantic Coast Pipeline fully complies with regulations intended to protect people and the environment from pollution by engaging volunteer observers. Forrest English, your Pamlico-Tar Riverkeeper with Sound Rivers will be talking about what types of pollution control measures to look for, how to determine if those measures are working, and how to record and report problems.

Monday, November 19th, training at the monthly Medoc Mountain Group Sierra Club meeting at the Englewood Methodist Church, 300 S Circle Dr off Sunset Ave, in Rocky Mount, from 7-8:30 pm
