The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed listing two new aquatic species, the Neuse River waterdog and the Carolina madtom, which only live in North Carolina, for protection under the Endangered Species Act.
Your voice is needed in support of these robust protections for these struggling native North Carolina species; helping imperiled wildlife is good for people too. Protecting these sensitive aquatic species will aid in improving and preserving clean water for North Carolinians for generations to come.
Comments to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are due by July 22, 2019. But don’t wait – send your comments in support of protecting these unique species today!
