If you are interested in participating in our 2019 Swim Guide Program, please attend our volunteer training event. Volunteers will help collect water samples throughout the summer in the Tar-Pamlico between Greenville and Belhaven that will be analyzed for fecal bacteria levels and provide that information to the public through text alerts, smartphone apps, social media, and through our website.

Volunteers will receive all materials needed to collect weekly water samples as well as training on proper collection methods.

Training will be held at 7 pm at the Sound Rivers office in Washington at 108 Gladden St (upstairs, door on the opposite side of the building from the street).

If you would like to volunteer, but are unable to attend the training, please email: pamtarrk@soundrivers.org.
