fishin 1Our popular Kids’ River Fest returns to Greenville River Park North. This year, we are also duplicating the free event in Kinston. Dedicated to protecting the Neuse and  Tar-Pamlico Rivers, Sound River hosts Kids’ Fest as an opportunity to explore and play in your watershed. Connect with your family and take a time to appreciate the Neuse and Tar Rivers.

Kids’ River Fest in Greenville

Sound Rivers invites your family to explore River Park North at our second annual Kids’ River Fest in Greenville, on Saturday May 14th. Kids River Fest will be hosted from 10 am to  2pm.

This event is free and open to the public. Kids’ River Fest encourages families to spend their Saturday outside in an active and educational way. The event includes hands on activities as well as shows and musical performances.

Activities for the day are scheduled to include, kayaking, fishing, bounce house, planetarium shows, reptile shows, live music, hay rides, crafts and much more.

Zaxby’s and Kona Ice will be on site selling food.

Kids River Fest in Kinston

Sound Rivers invites your family to explore the Neuseway Nature Park for our first Kids’ River Fest in Kinston on Saturday May 21st. Kids River Fest will be hosted from 10 am to 2pm.

This event is free and open to the public. Kids’ River Fest encourages families to spend their Saturday outside in an active and educational way. The event includes hands on activities as well as shows and musical performances.

Lovicks Cafe and Kona Ice will be on site selling food.
